Since January, the Equipment Department has taken the lead in organizing and establishing 6 professional demolition working groups, including the engineering group, bidding group, asset disposal group, and safety and security group. All owners, factories and mines have also established demolition working groups. Each working group is coordinated by the demolition headquarters and carries out the demolition of discontinued equipment and facilities in accordance with the division of responsibilities. According to on-site staff, all dismantling equipment and facilities have been classified in advance according to protective and non-protective properties. After a series of work such as technical appraisal, internal publicity and on-site confirmation, the dismantling work will be carried out specifically to ensure that the dismantling Security of assets in the process. During the demolition process, each working group must follow the principle of giving priority to municipal construction projects and Shougang reuse projects, give priority to the demolition needs of the west extension of Chang'an Street, and overcome unfavorable factors such as the diversion of production personnel, wide demolition coverage, and complex problems. , so that demolition projects can be started one after another when they are mature. In order to ensure the safe development of the demolition work, the security team has specially formulated the "Safety Management Regulations for Demolition Projects" and the "Security Work Plan during Demolition", and has a dedicated person responsible for supervising and guiding safety work at the demolition site.

It is also understood that the next demolition work of the old Shougang factory will mainly focus on the "one street and two lines", that is, the west extension project of Chang'an Street, the ground-breaking project of the Fengsha Line, and the subway S1 line project. The demolition plan for the Chang'an Street West Extension Project and the Fengsha Line Entry Project has been determined. It will involve the construction of 206 buildings, 2,314 sets of equipment, demolition of factories and office buildings in the old Shougang factory area, with a total area of ??approximately 160,000 square meters. Due to reasons such as the protection of Shijingshan cultural relics, Line S1 will start its dismantling work immediately after Beijing determines the plan to ensure the smooth progress of the municipal project.
