According to the announcement, Ali signed a sales agreement with Auchan Global to acquire 70.94% equity of Jixin held by Auchan, that is, all the equity of Jixin held by Auchan.

Since Gaoxin Retail "packaged" RT Mart's China business and Auchan's China business, Ali's acquisition meant that Auchan withdrew from the China market and sold its China business and overall rights and interests to Alibaba.

Fresh e-commerce adopts the pre-warehouse mode, which solves the "last mile" problem of fresh delivery and poses a great threat to offline fresh supermarkets and traditional fresh delivery. Therefore, after the digital transformation in RT Mart, all stores are connected to Hungry, Taoxianda and Tmall supermarkets.

This transformation has effectively solved the problems such as the lack of distribution service in RT Mart and the offline inventory of Tmall supermarket, and also provided the supermarket service choice in RT Mart for Hungry and Taoxianda.

Second, online and offline interoperability. "Meow Star Selection" is to select consumers' favorite "online celebrity products" on Tmall and Taobao in each region through big data, and then deliver them to the corresponding RT Mart.

On the one hand, consumers can experience these "online celebrity goods" in RT Mart, and then buy them online, thus increasing the sales of Taobao and Tmall. On the other hand, Tmall and Taobao can also provide more popular products for RT Mart and increase the passenger flow in RT Mart.

After Auchan completely changed its name to RT Mart, these measures will also be applied to Auchan stores, which may boost the sales of Ali and Gaoxin retail products to some extent.
