Application conditions

The following persons are registered unemployed persons:

Individuals applying for public welfare positions need to submit materials

1. How long can I work in a public welfare position?

The working period of employees in public welfare positions who are less than 5 years away from the statutory retirement age can be extended until retirement. The working period of other employees generally does not exceed 3 years, based on the age at which they first enter the position. The labor contract is signed once a year. Those who pass the annual assessment can renew the labor contract within the specified period. If the employer fails the annual assessment, the employer should terminate the labor contract.

When people with employment difficulties and laborers from registered poor households expire in three years of working in public welfare positions, their labor contracts will be terminated and they will generally no longer be arranged to be employed in public welfare positions.

2. How to accept and review public welfare positions?

1. The Public Welfare Position Management Office will conduct a preliminary review of the materials submitted by the applicant in accordance with the regulations of the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and the Finance Bureau.
