Is it necessary to take a physical fitness test to apply for the Urban Management Administrative Law Enforcement Brigade?

All positions in the public security and judicial departments require physical fitness tests, and those who fail the test will not be allowed to enter the interview.

The Urban Management Administrative Law Enforcement Brigade is not part of the public security. It is a law enforcement agency under the Urban Construction Committee (in some places it is the Urban Management Bureau), and it is of a public nature. As for whether a physical examination and visual examination are required during application, that should be clear in the recruitment announcement. If it's not in the announcement, it's not needed.

The physical fitness assessment is carried out in accordance with the "Notice on Issuing the Physical Fitness Assessment Items and Standards for the Recruitment of People's Police by Public Security Organs (Interim)" (Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security [2011] No. 48). The assessment items are 10 meters × 4 round trips. Running, men's 1000-meter run, women's 800-meter run, vertical jump and high jump. Among them: the number of assessments for both the 10-meter × 4 round-trip race, the men's 1000-meter run, and the women's 800-meter run is once. Candidates can practice and familiarize themselves with the rules before taking the 10-meter × 4 round-trip run; vertical jump and height assessment No more than 3 times. No retest or supplementary test will be conducted after the evaluation results are obtained. If one of them fails to meet the standard, it will be deemed as failing the physical fitness test.
