What unit does Songliao Committee belong to?

Songliao Water Resources Commission of the Ministry of Water Resources was established in 1982. It is the basin management institution of the Ministry of Water Resources in Songhua River, Liaohe River Basin, international boundary river in Northeast China and rivers entering the sea alone. On behalf of the Ministry of Water Resources, it exercises the responsibilities of river basin water administration according to law and is a public institution with administrative functions. Songliao Committee now has 16 offices, 1 individual institutions and 8 institutions.

Since its establishment, Songliao Committee has been adhering to the tenet of "uniting to control water, seeking truth from facts, being dedicated, serving Songliao and striving for first-class", and has played an important role in comprehensive water conservancy planning, flood control and drought relief, water resources management, soil and water conservation, water pollution prevention and control, and water conservancy project construction management in Songliao Basin.
