Case analysis of college students' job hunting scam
Very urgent. In order to find a satisfactory job, many graduates submit resumes and search for information. As long as it is in line with their wishes, they will take active actions and never let go, but it also creates an opportunity for criminals. Some lawless elements take advantage of college students' eagerness to find jobs, make excuses and set job-hunting traps, which cast an indelible shadow on college students' job-hunting again and caused a bad social impact. According to the statistics of the public security department, such cases have shown a sharp upward trend in the past two years. Faced with these problems, college students should not only strengthen safety protection measures at school, but also pay attention to vigilance and enhance their safety awareness and self-prevention awareness in job hunting.
1, stealing personal information in the name of recruitment.
Case: Xiao Wang is a recent graduate of a university. She wanted to apply for a job through the internet, so she published her personal information online, and at the same time published her mobile phone and dormitory phone. After a while, Xiao Wang received a phone call claiming to be a company in Shanghai. In order to verify his college student status and family situation, he asked Xiao Wang to give his home phone number. Xiao Wang felt that it was normal for the employer to verify her real situation, so she told the other party her home phone number. During this period, Wang's father, who was far away from his hometown in Zhengzhou, received a phone call claiming to be the director of the emergency center of a hospital in Wuhan, saying that Hu's daughter had to remit 30,000 yuan to the account designated by the hospital because of a traffic accident, otherwise the rescue would be affected. Hu's father was anxious to save his daughter when he couldn't contact the school and his daughter's roommate. On the same day, he remitted 25,000 yuan to the designated account in three times. A few hours later, Wang's father contacted his daughter by phone and learned that all this was a scam.
Now this kind of deception is very popular. Someone overheard the phone number at home by a swindler, and a similar scam appeared. Some people don't report the loss of their mobile phones, so scammers call them one by one with the phone numbers stored in their mobile phones. As there are many relatives and friends, it is inevitable that someone will be cheated. I remind everyone to be alert to this kind of deception.
2. Illegally collect wealth in the name of recruitment.
Case 1: After Xiao Wu graduated from university, he paid the registration fee of 10 yuan in a professional agency. After becoming a member and paying the information fee of 150 yuan, the intermediary will contact 5 users for an interview. Unexpectedly, Xiao Wu hit a wall in five interviews, and the other party either called it "the move" or "inappropriate". Xiao Wu found that other college students who signed up at the institution also encountered the same situation as him. He knew he had met a "black job agent".
Taking advantage of college students' lack of social experience and eagerness to make money, the "black employment agency" provided false information after charging information fees, and asked several employers to "fool" students back and forth. Even some intermediaries disappeared without a trace after charging fees, leaving students with no way to complain.
Case 2: Xiao Liu, a college graduate, was asked to pay 360 yuan's clothing fee after an interview with an electrical appliance trading company in the North Ring Road of Zhengzhou, and then he could sign a contract, train and start work. After paying the fee, she signed a labor contract with the company, which also specifically stated that the company would not refund her resignation or voluntary resignation due to personal reasons, and the clothing expenses would be borne by her. After going to work, Xiao Liu asked to resign and refund the clothing fee because he was not assigned a job. On the grounds of signing the agreement, the other party refused to charge the inexperienced college students so-called clothing fees, information fees, handling fees, training fees, etc., but he did not arrange a job, forcing the job seeker to resign voluntarily.
Tips: When applying for a job, it is illegal for the employer to ask for clothing fees, deposits, or collect money in other ways. It's probably a scam, and job seekers can report it to the labor inspection department. In addition, you should report the case in time after encountering fraud, otherwise not only will your losses be irreparable, but more people will be fooled.
