Application Conditions

All citizens of the People’s Republic of China must abide by national laws and regulations, abide by Those who have professional ethics and meet the application conditions for social workers can take the exam at the corresponding level.

Assistant Social Worker

Obtain a high school or technical secondary school degree and have been engaged in social work for more than 4 years;

Obtain a college degree in social work and have been engaged in social work for more than 4 years 2 years;

Obtain a college degree in other majors and engage in social work for at least 4 years ;

Social Worker

Obtain a high school or technical secondary school degree, and obtain the Assistant Social Worker professional level certificate, and engage in social work for at least 6 years;

Obtain College degree or above in social work, and have been engaged in social work for at least 4 years;

Obtain a bachelor's degree in social work, and have been engaged in social work for at least 3 years;

Senior social worker

Those who sign up to take the exam must meet the following conditions:

Support the leadership of the Communist Party of China, abide by the national constitution, laws, and regulations, love social work, and have Good professional ethics;

Have a bachelor's degree or above (or bachelor's degree or above);

After passing the National Social Worker Professional Level Examination to obtain the qualification of social worker (intermediate) , engaged in social work for more than 5 years.

The deadline for calculating professional working years is December 31 of the year of the examination.

For applicants holding academic qualifications or degree certificates from higher education institutions in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan or abroad, their academic qualifications and degree certificates must be certified by the Study Abroad Service Center of the Ministry of Education; residents of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan who meet the registration requirements can Apply to take the Social Worker Professional Level Examination.
