Brief introduction of Wuhan People's Art Theatre

Wuhan People's Art Theatre Co., Ltd. is a well-known state-owned art troupe with a long history and a high reputation in China. Its predecessor was the propaganda team of the 13th Regiment of the Ji-Cha-Re Military Region, which experienced the historical stages such as the Victory Drama Club of the Rehe Military Region, the Art Troupe of the Ji-Cha-Re-Liao Military Region, the Lu Xun Art College of the Ji-Cha-Re-Liao Union University, and the First Art Troupe of Tianjin. 1949 went south with the troops to Wuhan as the Central South Art Troupe, 1952 merged with Central South College of Literature and Art to formally establish Central South People 1957, and the People's Art Theatre was expanded to Wuhan Theatre. In 2005, Wuhan Theatre merged with Wuhan Children's Theatre and was renamed Wuhan People's Art Theatre. 20 12 was transformed into Wuhan People's Art Theatre Co., Ltd., with three kinds of dramas: drama, children's drama and puppet show. There are more than 300 screenwriters, directors, choreographers and cast members. There are four theaters with advanced equipment and complete functions: Zhongnan Theater, Small Theater, D5 Space and Parent-child Theater. The theater covers an area of 5285.77 square meters, with a usable area of 15202 square meters and a registered capital of 36 million yuan. Over the past half century, the theater has staged more than 300 plays in different forms and styles at all times and in all countries, and created and performed a number of outstanding plays: The Yangtze River, The Transition in Together, Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter, The Soul of the Three Gorges, Mother, Zhang Zhidong, Fission191. Children's dramas: Little Scout, Spring Rain, Hope, Taste of Lemon Yellow, Gudiudiu; Puppet show, lion dance, lanterns, long sleeves, butterflies, Zhong Kui; Drama sketches such as "It's hard to tell the truth from the false", "Conscription" and "Fifty Dollars" have won many national awards such as Wenhua Award, Wenhua Award, Five One Project Award and Golden Lion Award, and won more than 60 national awards. At the same time, some of them won the Plum Blossom Award, Wenhua Award and Golden Lion Award. In the course of more than half a century, the theater has performed all over the country and visited Singapore, Japan, Greece, South Korea, Cyprus, Slovakia and other places for exchange performances many times, which has a certain international reputation and influence.
