During the peak passenger flow period (7: 00-9: 00, 17: 00- 19: 00), the train interval is 4 minutes and 50 seconds, and there are 32 trains on the line. Outside the peak hours of passenger flow, the train interval is 6 minutes and 02 seconds, and there are 26 trains on the line.

According to the relevant provisions of the Code for the Operation and Management of Urban Rail Transit, various factors, such as operation safety, night maintenance requirements, running-in degree at the initial stage of line opening, passenger travel requirements, etc., are comprehensively considered.

The initial operation time of Hefei Metro Line 3 is tentatively set at 06:00-22: 15, that is, the first and last buses leave at 6:00 and 22: 15 respectively, and arrive at Xiangcheng Road Station at 6:48 and 23:25.

As an important part of the skeleton network in the network planning, Line 3 is transferred to 1 Line (in operation), Line 2 (in operation), Line 4 (under construction) and Line 5 (under construction), and the transfer station is Hefei Railway Station (1 transfer).

Xiqilitang Station (Line 2 transfer), Library Station, Miaofang Station (Line 4 transfer) and Haitang Station (Line 5 transfer). After the opening of Line 3, passengers can transfer to 1 Line and Line 3 at Hefei Railway Station and to Line 2 and Line 3 at Xiqilitang Station.
