As the leader of vocational education in Qionglai, the scale of the school is expanding and the hardware facilities are improving day by day. The school has a building area of nearly 40,000 square meters, more than 500 computers, more than 40 CNC machining experiment training rooms, and complete facilities such as gymnasium, library, computer room and student apartment. With complete facilities and advanced functions, there is a standard 400-meter circular runway and football field, and the campus modern network has achieved full coverage. The school has a strong faculty and excellent teachers' business. Faculty 173, including full-time teachers 122, 36 teachers with senior titles, 52 teachers with intermediate titles and 35 teachers with double qualifications. The school attaches great importance to the construction of teaching staff and provides teachers with various learning opportunities by means of "please come in and please go out". In recent years, more than 40 young and middle-aged backbone teachers have been sent to participate in various skills training and competitions held by the state, provinces and cities, and good results have been achieved. The school takes "people-oriented, harmonious development" as its school-running concept, and through continuous optimization and integration, it has formed a multi-level school-running pattern of secondary vocational schools and adult education and training. Among them, secondary vocational schools offer 10 majors with 2 183 students, and have two key majors in Chengdu: computer, application and architectural decoration. Adult education department has 7 categories 15 majors, and currently has 1 128 students. The training department trains 3000 skilled personnel of all kinds every year, and delivers a large number of skilled personnel to the society every year.
In recent years, our school has taken scientific development as the core, intensified connotation development, adhered to sustainable development, set the establishment of national key secondary vocational schools as the overall goal, strengthened training base construction, teacher specialization and teaching practice as the breakthrough, and adhered to "four services, three transformations, two projects and one feature" ("four services" means serving economic restructuring and technological progress, promoting employment and reemployment, and serving agriculture. "Three transformations" refers to the transformation of school-running ideas, concepts and mechanisms; "Two projects" refers to the training base construction project and the teaching staff construction project; "One characteristic" refers to the general idea of unifying the concept of running a school and forming its characteristics.
