How are the stainless steel tableware we use every day made?

In our daily life, we often see stainless steel tableware, especially knives and forks. Then how are the stainless steel tableware we use every day made? The manufacturing process of stainless steel tableware is mainly divided into four steps.

First, a circle of thick steel wire is gradually straightened in the small hole, and then the machine pulls it back and forth to cut the steel wire into a fixed length, so that an empty drum is formed at one end of the steel wire to facilitate the connection of the handle. This is a factory specializing in the production of tableware. Subsequently, the steel wire is sent to a furnace and heated until it softens. Press the red-hot steel wire into thin slices in a press, cut off excess materials, and then weld a small steel bar at the end of the thin slices.

Second, next, put the slice on an automatic grinder and grind the sawtooth of the knife at the front edge of the slice, so that the knife can cut food better. Then, the factory put the stainless steel with high nickel content into a special mold and cut out the shape of half a handle. Then the two parts are welded together with a spot welder to form a complete handle.

Thirdly, in the next step, the edge grinder grinds the weld on the handle until the weld is integrated with stainless steel. Next, the workers poured the adhesive into the centrifuge and installed 50 handles around the centrifuge at one time. When the centrifuge rotates, the adhesive splashes everywhere, just filling the empty gun in the handle. Then the worker put the blade into the handle and soaked it for more than ten minutes, then the adhesive solidified, and one knife after another was made.

Fourth, on the other side, the stainless steel sheet is cut into a T shape by the machine. Then the punching machine cuts these T-shaped plates into the shape of a spoon, and then presses the spoon into the shape of a bowl. A series of operations are flowing. The last stop of all tableware is the polishing grinder, which uses liquid polishing agent to polish the surface of tableware. After the finished tableware has passed the quality inspection, it can be packaged and delivered in the last step. Then these tableware can be transported to the sales market for sale.
