Brief introduction of Gushousheng Temple

The ancient Shousheng Temple was built in the Song Dynasty, with a history of more than 700 years. It is also one of the fourteen Buddhist jungles in Taizhou. The temple is located in Qintong, a thousand-year-old town known as the water town and the country, and is the first of the nine temples in Qintong. This temple has an accidental history and profound cultural heritage.

The Buddhist pavilion in the temple, also known as Shuiyunlou, is close to the lake, with beautiful railings and water and sky. Gushousheng Temple Scenic Area is located in Qinhu Wetland Park. This temple is also an ancient temple with a long history in Taizhou. Unfortunately, it was destroyed during the Cultural Revolution.
