Graduates majoring in railway transportation are generally recruited in railway colleges and universities. Railway transportation majors recruit many people.

Railway colleges offering undergraduate courses in railway transportation include Southwest Jiaotong University, Beijing Jiaotong University, Lanzhou Jiaotong University, Railway Department of Central South University, Railway Department of Tongji University, shijiazhuang tiedao university, Dalian Jiaotong University and East China Jiaotong University.
