During 1949, there were only four factories in China: Hualin Rubber Factory, Qingdao No.2 Rubber Factory, Shanghai Greater China Rubber Factory and Shanghai Zheng Tai Rubber Factory.
Qingdao No.2 Rubber Factory: Qingdao Rubber Factory, Sun Rubber Shoes Factory (1935 put into production), BS Tire Factory and Cloth Factory (1939 put into production), formerly known as Qingdao Rubber Industry Co., Ltd., were established in Qingdao in the 1930s when Japan invaded China.

Xujiahui old factory (No.839, hengshan road) was called the first factory of Greater China Rubber Factory (above).
