Hainan District is one of the municipal districts of Wuhai City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, located in the west of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the southeast of Wuhai City. Located in the junction of Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia-Mongolia Economic Zone and the central area of the economic belt along the Yellow River, it has relatively good natural geographical conditions, rich mineral resources and huge reserves of coal and limestone. It is an important base of coal chemical industry and chlor-alkali chemical industry in China, with relatively stable economic development trend and large room for economic growth.
