The College was founded in 1963, and has used the names of Shijiazhuang Commissioner-run Commercial Vocational School, Shijiazhuang Finance and Trade School and Shijiazhuang Commercial School successively. 1985 restored the name of Shijiazhuang Finance and Trade School. 1993, the school was renamed "Shijiazhuang Finance and Economics School".
