First, school profile:

1. Shangqiu Medical College is a public full-time general college approved by the Ministry of Education. It is a high-quality vocational college in Henan Province, the first batch of characteristic colleges of higher vocational education in Henan Province, the first batch of pilot colleges of training excellent doctors in Henan Province, the first batch of pilot colleges of modern apprenticeship in China, high-level vocational colleges and high-level professional construction project units in Henan Province, and the sixth batch of postdoctoral research and development bases in Henan Province.

2. The school was founded in 192 1 as the nursing school of Guide St. Paul Hospital, and was upgraded to Shangqiu Medical College with the approval of the Ministry of Education in May 2004 after the Fifth Nursing School of Henan Province, Shangqiu Nursing School of Henan Province, Health School Affiliated to Shangqiu District People's Hospital, Shangqiu District Health School and Shangqiu City Health School.

2.20 15, the school and Xinxiang medical college formally reached and signed an agreement on the joint training of ordinary undergraduates.
