In addition to meeting the basic conditions stipulated in the People's Police Law and the Measures for the Employment of People's Police in Public Security Organs, the following conditions shall also be met:

Under 2.25 years old;

3. Military veterans have a high school education or above;

4. Good health, good figure, naked eye vision above 5.0, male height above 170CM, female height above 165CM.

There are two kinds of special police, one is the special police of the armed police force; One is the special police of the public security system.

Public security special police belong to civil servants. Now we should recruit from within the public security and newly demobilized soldiers, and of course we should also select from the society. When they are selected, they will be tested, including physical fitness test, written test and interview.

The special police of the armed police force are only recruited from the officers and men of the armed police force. Most of the officers and men employed were selected to the Beijing Special Police College of the Armed Police Force (undergraduate students were recruited in 2004) for training and study. After graduation, some of them stayed in the combat brigade of Beijing Special Police College, and most of them were assigned to provincial special police units as the backbone of training and combat.
