What is the military civilian exam?

The military civilian examination consists of two parts: * * * subjects and professional subjects.

the scope of public * * * subjects includes two parts: basic knowledge and post ability.

1. Basic knowledge

It mainly measures the examinee's understanding of the basic principles and methods of political theory, his awareness of national defense and the army, the system of civilian personnel, security and secrecy, and his ability to grasp, apply and obtain information about other basic knowledge. This part mainly includes politics, economy, law, humanities and society, science and technology, national defense and army.

2. Post ability

It mainly measures the candidates' basic post ability, such as speech comprehension and expression ability, numerical reasoning and calculation ability, logical thinking ability and data analysis ability.

The examination syllabus of professional subjects is divided into 44 majors in 13 categories, including philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, foreign languages and literature, history, science and technology, agriculture, medicine, library and archives, art and management. For professional posts in minority languages and minority languages that are not covered by the professional subject examination syllabus, the written examination of professional subjects shall be based on the proposition of the corresponding language undergraduate education syllabus.

Obligations of civilian personnel:

According to the newly revised Regulations on Civilian Personnel of the People's Liberation Army (hereinafter referred to as the Regulations) promulgated by the State Council and the Central Military Commission, civilian personnel refer to non-active personnel who are engaged in management and professional and technical work in military establishment posts that are common to the military and civilians, do not directly participate in combat and are not suitable for social security, and are part of military personnel.

in the military and social life, civilian personnel enjoy the corresponding rights and perform the corresponding obligations of state employees according to law.

There are three points to be made clear here:

1. Civilian personnel are non-active, have no military status and are not soldiers.

2. Civilian personnel are those who are engaged in management and professional and technical work in military establishment positions. Simply speaking, civilian personnel have formal establishment.

3. Military civilian personnel in technical posts and management posts belong to cadre status, among which, technical posts are employed and management posts are appointed.
