Why didn't Yiwu merge with Pujiang County?

1. Yiwu is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Zhejiang Province, managed by Jinhua City, and Pujiang County is a part of Pujiang County. The two areas are geographically far apart, and there is no obvious geographical connection.

2. The economic and social development of Yiwu City and Pujiang County is quite different. Yiwu takes trade logistics as the leading industry, and has one of the largest small commodity markets in the world-Yiwu International Trade City, with strong economic strength. Pujiang county is dominated by manufacturing industry, and its economic strength is relatively weak.
