Learn Spanish or Portuguese?

I study Spanish. Portuguese is similar to Spanish in grammar, but it sounds a little French. Hee hee. Personally, I think Spanish sounds a little close to Italian.

You study mining. I think it's better to learn Portuguese. Indeed, as the downstairs said, there are too many Spanish learners now. Portuguese is still easy to find a job in the short term, and of course it is saturated, but it will be hard to say in a few years.

Some Brazilians do speak Spanish, and most people know some Spanish, but when they speak Spanish, they have a strong nasal voice.

No matter now or in the future, the hope of South America lies in Brazil. Brazil's dominance in South America is unshakable. As a big country, you have many opportunities to make money, regardless of economic strength or international status.

Off-topic: As a mining major, you must know that there is a famous vale in Brazil. Other countries in South America don't have such a big mining giant.
