Japanese, a minor language, is affiliated to the School of Foreign Languages of Xinxiang University. According to relevant information, the School of Foreign Languages was formerly the Department of Foreign Languages, which was founded in 1978. In 2007, it was revoked and established from this department. In May 2020, the school adjusted the layout of disciplines and specialties, and the former Foreign Languages Department of the university was merged into the Foreign Languages College. The college has four undergraduate majors: English, Translation, Business English and Russian. Two majors: English education and applied English. It covers three languages: Russian, English and Japanese. At the same time, it undertakes the task of college English teaching for non-English majors in the school.
