Notice of the Health Department of Henan Province on Selecting College Graduates to Work in Primary Medical and Health Institutions

From now on (May 26th), the Provincial Health Department began to select 2,340 medical graduates from both inside and outside the province to work at the grassroots level. Once these students are selected, the provincial health department will reimburse the relevant expenses during their school days and give them corresponding preferential treatment. Interested graduates can register before June 30th.

Number of candidates: graduate students 140, undergraduate students 1200 and junior college students 1000!

It is reported that the selection targets are full-time graduate students, undergraduates and junior college students majoring in clinical medicine, preventive medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, pharmacy, traditional Chinese medicine, integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine, maternal and child health care, imaging, laboratory medicine, nursing and general medicine who graduated from colleges and universities during the employment period. Among them, graduate students 140, undergraduates 1200 and junior college students 1000.

Treatment: including reimbursement of tuition, accommodation, teaching materials and other contents stipulated by the state during the study period! Selected graduates require good health, high political awareness and strong professional ability, and voluntarily work in grassroots medical and health units below the county level for more than 6 years. According to the relevant person in charge of the provincial health department, the provincial health department will reimburse the final candidate for the tuition, accommodation and teaching materials stipulated by the state during the study period.

The person in charge said that the relevant departments will approve the special preparation for graduates of higher medical colleges and above who are transferred to township hospitals outside the central hospital, and their wages will be guaranteed by the county-level financial department. Those who have served for six years shall retain their official national staff status and corresponding treatment. Full-time medical college students who are selected to work in township hospitals outside the central hospital and have obtained the qualifications of practicing doctors, pharmacists and nurses shall be guaranteed by the county-level financial department and filed by the personnel department. During the period of working in township hospitals (including until retirement), enjoy the same treatment as the official staff of the state.

In addition, for medical graduates who are transferred to township hospitals, their post salary will float upward by one file. Those who have worked continuously in township health centers for 8 years will have a fixed floating salary from the next month after 8 years, and the normal salary increase and promotion stipulated by the state will not be affected.

This selection will be accepted from now on, and the deadline for registration is June 30, 2009. The registration method adopts the combination of voluntary registration, agency recommendation, health administrative department and employer assessment. Eligible college graduates can download and fill out the Application Form for Selecting Excellent College Graduates in Henan Health System (Annex 2) in triplicate, and after being examined and signed by the department in charge of school graduates' employment, they can register at the Personnel Department of the Health Bureau of each province according to the first choice reported. After completing the form, college graduates outside the province can register as the first choice. Previous graduates need to hold the original registration form and diploma, and apply directly to the personnel department of the provincial health department according to the reported first choice. The Provincial Health Department will publish the registration of graduates from all counties (cities) in the province online every day.
