How many merits does it take to become a Buddha?
Before answering this question, let me explain the concept of merit, merit: it is self-interested, such as cutting off my opinion and introducing the wisdom of the first fruit, so I no longer hold clear consciousness as my true self, so I no longer create evil deeds corresponding to the three evil ways just because I recognize consciousness as me, which is self-interested!
And virtue: this is his advantage. At the beginning, people benefited from this wisdom and helped others get rid of my opinion. It is his interest, and the wisdom of liberation is bound to be accompanied by the lovely fruit of later generations, which is also his interest (the lovely fruit received by later generations' consciousness, so it is called his interest).
Now that I understand this merit, let's talk about the merits of becoming a Buddha:
Becoming a Buddha is the supreme way out in the world, and I have little evidence at the end of my studies. I dare not guess the meaning of Buddha, but I will explain it from the classics I read and my own cognition:
As far as Mahayana Shurangama Sutra, Mahayana Miyan Sutra, Qijing Sutra, Bodhisattva Yingluojing, Mahayana Sutra and Cheng Wei's theory are concerned:
Enlightenment means that Prajna is located in the seventh residence of Bodhisattva before the view;
Seeing Buddha nature, that is, seeing Zen nature, is located in the tenth place of Bodhisattva;
The first two are prajnaparamita wisdom. To achieve these two merits, you must have:
One: Believe (believe in enlightenment and insight, believe that you can obtain evidence, believe that Buddhism, Bodhisattva and Buddhism are all true, and believe that the world has decided to accept the good knowledge that bears fruit); Second, determination (first, the profound samadhi power, which was quickly achieved in modern practice according to the general trend of bodhisattva chanting Buddha); Third: Huili; Four: Ford Liang Zi (Bodhisattva's six-degree practice); Five: weak sexual barrier (that is, thin greed); Six: Before enlightenment, six people must be full of opinions and first obtain evidence to prove the first fruit.
Therefore, with the above conditions, you can achieve enlightenment and understanding, and even see the merits of Buddhism.
Next, I will briefly describe the wisdom and merits of the deeper Bodhisattva level:
Ten-line bodhisattva:
Self-cultivation is like the flame of the sun-like the sun shining on the hot sand in the distance, and the air flows like water, but the wise know that water is not real, so it is called the flame view of the sun. For example, if you look at asphalt roads in summer, it seems that there is water from a distance, but it is not water. Water is illusory. This is called the scene of the sun's flame. This means: we can perceive, we can learn various methods, we are like the appearance of the sun flame, which exists in reality, but it is temporary; Truthful observation before the present is the ten-line view of self-nature-knowing the heart of six dusts, which is accessible, just like the emptiness of the sun flame, and can make all beings in the world yearn for five desires and six dusts and worry endlessly.
Next, when you enter the initial return position and learn the tenth return position, it is called dream achievement; When the ten-shifted Bodhisattva walks on the Bodhisattva Road, the world he sees is an illusion of the past. He can feel, know and become the master's self-mind like the flame of the sun. All kinds of infinite merits he has done to cultivate self-cultivation and benefit the public feel like he is in a dream-like walking on the Bodhisattva Road in his dream.
The three sages' views on non-ego-such as illusion (the world is illusory), sunshine (life is like a play) and dreaming (bodhisattva's way is like a dream)-are satisfactory in practice, and they can lead to holiness and monasticism. Because of their endless desire and the wisdom and learning tools they should have when they enter the center of the earth, it is proved that they have the merit of reaching the position and the method of being born. After entering the ground, the concept of self-absence from the beginning is called mirror image. After entering the first school, learn how to make a life, give paramita, and when it is proved to be a mirror image, enter the second center of the earth, specializing in abstinence and blessing.
The concept of non-ego to be practiced in the two places is called light and shadow, which means that we have a clear understanding of what we have seen and heard. The root of our thoughts anywhere is like light and shadow in the mirror-the image in the mirror is formed and changed by this light and shadow. Of course, the second inner earth should also practice the infinite forbearance of thousands of dharma circles-all kinds of wisdom, and also understand the commandments, strictly abide by them and not destroy them; After these conditions are met, it can be proved to be the current view of light and shadow. At this time, you can do whatever you want without breaking the rules, because you already know how to change your inner division. At this time, you can make your own decisions to change your inner split. You can control your inner split and make it clean. This is a true tutor and the practice of satisfying the precepts. This means that the practice and perfection of the discipline of adding precepts still depend on being born without forbearance to prove it from the heart.
Then he transferred to three places to learn Wanmen, Four Zen Eight Decisions, Four Infinite Hearts, Five Magical Arts and so on. When the three places are all hearts, his concept of non-ego is called the sound of the valley, that is, all the sound of dharma is like the echo of the valley. After being proved to be like Gu Xiangguan now, he officially entered the four places without practicing the law.
Everywhere is full of the concept of no-self, which is called the moon in the water, five places are called change, six places are called seemingly no-self, and seven places are called no-self. Most of the habits I hold prove that I will never be effective, and the seeds of my habits are rarely current. The bodhisattva who entered the center of the earth was taught by the Buddha to "arouse the infinite wisdom of the Tathagata", which proved to be a magical samadhi and achieved a profound and wonderful view of Mahayana selflessness. Since then, he has entered the realm of freedom in the earth, and since then, he has always been in a realm of uselessness for liberation-all his knowledge and practice of liberation are useless to him; Everything I said was purely for him, and I didn't gain anything from myself at all. This is the Mahayana view of self-nature full of eight places. Then, it is the general principle of Mahayana method to learn Taoism in nine places, and it proves that there are four arguments for it, which are called sentient beings who are good at wisdom, have no self and have no self-interest; There are clouds in ten places. When you are everywhere, you will learn all the Buddhist methods of the society successfully, but in all places, the sound of dharma is endless, and Wynn beings are endless; When they were full, the buddhas were appointed princes of France.
Because in that case, I will enter the bodhisattva position, and this kind of Buddha-like practice is not something you and I can practice; How can I put it? For example, a man comes to you and says, "I want to cook a medicine." My medicine needs an eye. Give me one of your eyes! " ! You have to dig for him on the spot, and you can't hesitate. Another person said, "I want a catty of human flesh", and you should cut it for him on the spot. He said I need your life, so you have to give it to him. The practice method of Bodhisattva Dengjue is to practice harmony regardless: there is no place where you have to put your life down. Whenever and wherever, we should make extensive use of domestic wealth and foreign wealth to cultivate the blessings needed by 32 adults and 80 people in the Buddhist country. That is to say, in this crisis, I am almost completely practicing Buddhism, forging good karma with all sentient beings, and practicing Buddhism without me in the material world-I have no attachment to my five elements at all, so that my subtle habits are completely eliminated, thus practicing 32 adults and being infinitely good in shape.
Finally, it is concluded that in order to achieve the merits required by Buddha's land, we must complete the above-mentioned wisdom certification and blessings required by all levels, and finally complete all kinds of wisdom certification and extensive blessings in order to reach Buddha's land.
