I saw a scenic spot in Yanzhou, Jining, but the locals said it was deserted.

For academic reasons, I often travel between Jinan and Heze. Heze and Jining have no high-speed rail at present, so they can only take the green leather train to and from the two places. Every time I pass by Yanzhou, there is a magnificent building that will attract everyone's attention. At this time, many passengers, especially those who come to this area for the first time, will talk about the purpose of the building.

I checked through the map APP in my mobile phone and found that it is a tourist attraction called Xinglong Cultural Park, which is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction with the theme of Buddhist culture. The whole scenic spot covers an area of 1.062 mu and is divided into East Garden and West Garden. The East Garden focuses on experiencing leisure, while the West Garden focuses on faith. According to reports, this is "the first indoor large-scale Buddhist culture theme park in China", which brings visitors a real-life experience through modern scientific and technological means such as sound and photoelectricity.

It's good to see the introduction, but what about the scenic spot? Some time ago, I went to Yanzhou with two friends and went to the scenic spot to find out. Out of Yanzhou Station, there are many taxi drivers waiting for passengers near the square in front of the railway station. We got on one of the cars and told him that we were going to Xinglong Cultural Park. The driver's master told us that Xinglong Cultural Park is close to the railway station and can be reached within walking distance. So we didn't take a taxi and walked to the gate of the scenic spot.

The core building in the West District is Lingguang Hall, which is also the building we saw on the train before. The building is 1 18 meters high, and there are many Buddha statues in the building for tourists to worship. After the visit, we took the scenic bus to Dongyuan District. There are not many tourists in the two parks, which may be due to non-weekend reasons. According to the author's general statistics, there are about thirty or forty tourists in the two parks, among whom middle-aged people account for the majority.

We had a brief talk with Mr. Kuang, a tourist from Jiangsu. He told us that this was his fifth business trip to Shandong. Because the company has long-term business contacts with Shandong enterprises, he often travels back and forth as a representative. This time he came to Jining and went to Sankong Scenic Area. When passing through Yanzhou, he saw the unique shape of the building and came here.

In addition to tourists who are attracted by passing by like Mr. Kuang, many religious people also come here, but foreigners account for the vast majority of these tourists. At the gate of the scenic spot, we met an old man who lived nearby. After listening to our conversation, he came to visit and say hello to us. He told us that this scenic spot was developed and built by the local government in 2008 after the national first-class cultural relics, such as the gold-plated silver coffin and the sarira golden urn, were unearthed. Because the local people are not optimistic about the prospect of this project, and the tickets are expensive, there are few local people among the tourists, and the scenic spot usually seems a little deserted.

But from the feeling of tourism experience, this trip contains cultural elements, scientific and technological elements, as well as tourism experience, which makes me satisfied on the whole. From the perspective of tourism resources, scenic spots still have certain advantages, but they need to be optimized and upgraded to attract more tourists.
