Provincial examination:

Provincial Examination is the abbreviation of "Provincial Civil Service Examination". The four-level recruitment of provinces, cities, counties and townships is arranged by the provincial organs in a unified way, and the preparation is subordinate to the provinces. The scope of provincial examination also includes four municipalities directly under the central government, such as Beijing, five autonomous regions, such as Inner Mongolia, and city examinations organized by individual cities such as Guangzhou and Shenzhen.

The written test time varies from province to province. Most provinces take the provincial entrance examination in the middle and late April of each year, and some provinces and cities organize the examination separately, such as Beijing and Shanghai at the end of each year and Jiangsu in March.
