Brief introduction of Meiyun town

Meiyun Town is located in the south of Jieyang City, bordering Xianqiao Town in the east, Puning City in the west, Zifeng Mountain in the south and Rongjiang River in the north. Provincial Highway 1930 passes through the territory, with convenient land and water transportation. Jieyang is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese. Covering an area of 25.32 square kilometers, it governs Meiyun neighborhood committee and 19 village committees, with a total population of 58 109. Xianmei Private Science and Technology Park, one of the top ten private science and technology parks in the province, covers the whole territory and is one of the central towns designated by the Provincial Construction Department.
