Social insurance can be cancelled.

However, when the unit is dissolved, bankrupt, revoked, merged, moved or needs to terminate the social insurance relationship according to law for other reasons, the unit shall apply to the Provincial Social Security Bureau for cancellation of social insurance registration within 30 days from the day after the cancellation of payment registration (local tax department). First, the required information

(a) the "application form for registration of social insurance information of the unit" in duplicate.
