According to relevant regulations, social security paid by individuals does not include unemployment insurance, work injury insurance and maternity insurance, but only medical insurance and endowment insurance. The conditions for individuals to purchase social security are: they have not reached the national statutory retirement age; Those with local household registration and those without local household registration can only go back to places with household registration to buy social security.

Social insurance needs to be handled by the Social Security Bureau. According to the principle of territorial management, all kinds of enterprises shall go through the registration formalities of social endowment insurance at the social insurance agency under the jurisdiction of the tax paying place (non-tax paying unit according to the address area of the unit). The newly established unit shall go through the registration formalities within 1 month from the date of approval.

Where the social insurance registration items of the employing unit are changed or the employing unit is terminated according to law, it shall, within 30 days from the date of change or termination, go to the social insurance agency to handle the change or cancellation of social insurance registration. The market supervision and management department, the civil affairs department and the organization management organ shall promptly notify the social insurance agency of the establishment and termination of the employing unit.
