The social security card collection process is as follows:

1, handled by the unit. Under normal circumstances, the social security cards of employees in the unit are handled centrally by the unit. Within three months from the date of admission, the personnel department of the unit will also go to the Social Security Bureau to obtain the certificate. After the social security card of the insured person is obtained, it will be activated in the bank or designated hospital. Can be used normally;

2. Personal handling. If the insured person participates in social security in the name of an individual, he can consult the handling personnel when and where he can pick up the card, and after receiving the notice of picking up the card, he can pick it up at the designated place and use it normally after activation;

3. I didn't get a card before changing units. If the insured fails to get the insurance card in time before job-hopping, and the original unit has submitted its own printed business card materials to the Social Security Bureau, then the original unit can help to get it or go to the Social Security Bureau to get it. If the social security card business card printing information is submitted by the new company, then the new company will receive the social security card.
