Unemployment insurance benefits can be refunded.

Unemployment insurance does not have a refund function, but you can apply for unemployment benefits.

There are certain conditions for enjoying unemployment benefits:

(1) Participating in unemployment insurance in accordance with the regulations, the unit and I have fulfilled the obligation to pay contributions for more than one year in accordance with the regulations;

(2) Interrupting employment within the legal working age not due to one's own will;

(3) Having registered for unemployment and job-seeking in accordance with the regulations. If you leave your job voluntarily, you are not supported to receive unemployment insurance benefits.

The receipt of unemployment benefits is regulated in this way: if you have paid for one year or less than two years, you can receive three months of unemployment benefits, if you have paid for two years or less than three years, you can receive six months of unemployment benefits, and so on, up to a maximum of twenty-four months, i.e., two years.

The formalities include an unemployment certificate, a certificate of termination of the labor relationship, an unemployment registration, and an ID card. The relevant procedures need to be valid within 60 days from the date of termination of labor relations.
