How to apply for a new social security card?

Process of replacing social security card:

The cardholder holds the original and photocopy of his/her ID card to apply for card replacement at the service outlets of the social security card center, and signs the business confirmation form in writing to confirm the card replacement application. After 7 working days of card replacement, I will get a new card at the original handling point with the card replacement business credentials and my ID card, and at the same time, I will hand over the old card to the business handling point and send it to the social security card center service outlets for unified destruction.

Conditions for applying for replacement of social security card

(1) If the card surface is dirty or incomplete and the chip is damaged, you cannot read or write in the card reading device. You can apply for card replacement at the service outlet of social security card center with the original and photocopy of your card and ID card.

(2) If the basic identity information (including name, citizen ID number, gender, nationality and other basic identity information) is changed, it is necessary to go through the formalities for changing personal data at the social security agency first, and after receiving the Confirmation Form for Changing Personal Data issued by the social security agency, the cardholder shall apply for card replacement at the service outlets of the social security card center with the original and photocopy of his ID card and the Confirmation Form for Changing Personal Data.

Get a new social security card

7 working days after the card replacement procedure, I will take the Card Replacement Business Confirmation Sheet and my original ID card to the original handling point to get a new card, and send the old card to the social security card center service outlet for unified destruction.
