According to the Interim Measures on the Retirement and Retirement of Workers and the Interim Measures on the Resettlement of Old, Weak, Sick and Disabled Cadres issued by the State Council in June 1978 (Guofa [1978] No. 104), the following cases can be retired:

Male workers have reached the age of 60, female cadres have reached the age of 55, female workers have reached the age of 50, and the number of consecutive years or years of service has reached 10;

Employees engaged in underground, high temperature, heavy physical labor and other types of work harmful to health, and men have reached 55 years old. 10 years;

Employees engaged in underground, high-altitude, high-temperature, heavy physical labor and other types of work that are harmful to their health, men who have reached 55 years of age, women who have reached 45 years of age, and who have completed 10 years of continuous service or work experience;

Men who have reached 50 years of age, women who have reached 45 years of age, and who have completed 10 years of continuous service or work experience, and workers who have lost their ability to work completely, as certified by hospitals and confirmed by labor appraisal committees;

Employees who have lost their ability to work completely, and workers who have lost their ability to work;

Disabled at work, certified by the hospital (workers and confirmed by the Labor Appraisal Committee) to be totally incapacitated for work.

According to the Regulations on Work-Related Injury Insurance (effective from January 1, 2004):

When a worker is disabled at work and is appraised as having a Grade 1 to Grade 4 disability, he or she will retain his or her labor relationship, withdraw from the workplace, and receive a monthly disability allowance;

After an injured worker reaches the age of retirement and completes the retirement procedures, he or she will cease to be entitled to the disability allowance and enjoy the basic old age pension benefits;

The basic old age pension benefits will also be paid to the injured worker. p>

If the basic pension insurance treatment is lower than the disability allowance, the difference will be made up by the Work Injury Insurance Fund.
