3. Before seeking medical treatment in different places, apply for referral to the staff of the designated institution designated by the social security department where the social security relationship is located; It will be approved by the local social security department (stamped) and then go to a designated institution in different places for treatment;

4. After discharge, bring the discharge summary, hospitalization certificate, receipt and details, social security card, referral certificate and valid ID card issued by different medical institutions to the local social security department for reimbursement.

The Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that:

Twenty-ninth medical expenses of the insured shall be paid by the basic medical insurance fund, and shall be directly settled by the social insurance agency, medical institutions and pharmaceutical business units.

The administrative department of social insurance and the administrative department of health shall establish a settlement system for medical expenses in different places to facilitate the insured to enjoy the basic medical insurance benefits.
