Can the social security paid be refunded?

Personal social security account cannot be withdrawn. However, under certain conditions, the social security personal account balance can be refunded:

If you reach the legal retirement age and the social security contribution is less than 15 years, you can apply to terminate the old-age insurance relationship and pay you the amount stored in your personal account in one lump sum.

If you go abroad to settle down and give up your nationality, you can apply in writing to terminate the basic old-age insurance relationship for employees when you leave the country or after leaving the country, and the amount stored in your personal account will be paid to you in one lump sum.

If the insured person dies while in office, the balance of his social security personal account can be inherited by the legal heir, and the amount of inheritance is the principal and interest of the individual payment part of the total amount stored in his personal account at the time of his death.
