If the social security red book is lost, it can be reissued.

1. If the employee's old-age insurance handbook and employee's retirement pension certificate are lost, the social security unit or the employee shall go to the social security agency with valid identity documents such as the insured's resident ID card, 1 inch recent photos 1 Zhang, and the Application Form for Reissuing Social Insurance Handbook and Documents for Urban Insured Persons signed by the employee himself and stamped by the social security unit.

If the flexible employment insured, "co-insured" or interrupted payment personnel of the unit where there is no social security relationship apply for reissue of the Employee Pension Insurance Manual, I should indicate the words "flexible employment insured", "co-insured" or "interrupted payment" on the Application Form for Social Insurance Manual and Certificate of Urban Insured Personnel.

2. If the social security agency confirms that it meets the conditions for reissue, it shall reissue the above insurance certificate according to the original personal number, and affix the "reissue" seal on the reissued certificate, indicating the date of reissue.
