On the morning of July 8, the Wenxin Media Center of Xiangtan University went to Zhijiang County of Huaihua City for a summer delegation, and went to the Civil Affairs Bureau of Zhijiang County of Huaihua City for relevant interviews and investigations.

The delegation came to the Civil Affairs Bureau of Zhijiang County and had an exchange with Deputy Director Yao and Director Deng of the Civil Affairs Bureau, and got a basic understanding of the elderly population data and infrastructure construction in Zhijiang County. Subsequently, the team members distributed questionnaires to some staff of the Civil Affairs Bureau, and further mastered the old-age infrastructure and service system in Zhijiang County.

"I personally won't send the old man, said with a smile. Under the influence of traditional ideas, ordinary old people are reluctant to go to nursing homes for the elderly. With the support of government pension insurance, the elderly can be self-sufficient and can support themselves by doing some light field work at home. And the elderly who can't take care of themselves, who are unattended and live in poverty and difficulties, will choose to go to nursing homes. With the improvement of the government's security system for the poor, the number of elderly people choosing nursing homes in Zhijiang County has decreased to a certain extent.

Another staff member said, "It takes a month to go to the nursing home." The staff of the Civil Affairs Bureau interviewed need less 1000 yuan, basically around 2000 yuan, and some private people even need 4000 yuan. How can old people have so much money? We can't compare with that big place in Zhijiang. Considering economic reasons, the number of elderly people who choose nursing homes in Zhijiang County is limited. Respondents also said that the supporting facilities of old-age care services in Zhijiang County need to be improved, and the staff of old-age care institutions lack effective incentive mechanisms.

After a short rest, the team divided the street excavation according to the task. Cao's team interviewed scattered elderly people in the alleys of the county, and his team chose Fengyuqiao, an activity place where the local elderly people gathered relatively. He's team conducted research on the elderly and their families in some communities. During the process, the team members listened attentively, overcame language difficulties to communicate with the elderly, listened patiently to the old people's complaints, and understood their current situation and needs for providing for the elderly.

On the other hand, in order to understand the basic situation of endowment insurance in Zhijiang County, Li and Zheng Huan and his party came to the Social Security Bureau. In the communication with Xu Yunjing, the business section chief, they learned about the implementation of the local people's government's basic old-age insurance system for urban and rural residents and the construction of township old-age facilities in Zhijiang County.

"Since we began to implement the policy, the number of elderly people in rural areas has increased from more than 50,000 to 6 1 10,000, which is very fast." Xu Yunqing said, "At present, there are few old-age care institutions in our county and the system is not perfect enough, but we are also making relevant improvements, such as the funeral of the elderly." Xu Kechang made suggestions on the current pension problem in Zhijiang County and helped the team to do the follow-up work. In addition, he encouraged and supported the team's investigation.

"In the communication with the elderly, I found that there is still a gap between the old-age security of local farmers and the old-age security of cities and towns, and there is also a certain gap between our theoretical assumptions and practice." After a day's investigation, the team gradually got a general understanding of the construction of old-age services in Zhijiang County, and made efforts to integrate information and analyze data to prepare for the follow-up work.
