What does rural social security include?

Legal analysis: China rural social security system mainly includes four aspects:

1 is rural social insurance. At present, the most urgent social insurance for farmers in China is mainly endowment insurance and medical insurance.

2. It is rural social assistance. Rural social assistance system includes rural social mutual assistance and rural social assistance. The targets of rural social assistance are mainly five-guarantee households, poor households, the disabled and other people in need.

3. It is rural social welfare. Rural social welfare refers to the provision of security measures and public welfare undertakings other than social relief and social insurance for rural special objects and community residents. Its main task is to ensure the basic life of orphans, widows, the elderly, the weak, the sick and the disabled. At the same time, provide on-site services for these poor groups, carry out entertainment, rehabilitation and other activities, and gradually improve their living standards.

4. It is a special care for rural society. Rural social special care refers to preferential treatment, pension and resettlement for rural veterans, as well as material and spiritual subsidies for rural military families. Rural social special care is a special guarantee, which has been incorporated into the whole social security system of the country.

Article 20 The state establishes and improves a new rural social endowment insurance system.

The new rural social endowment insurance combines individual contributions, collective subsidies and government subsidies.

Twenty-first new rural social endowment insurance benefits are composed of basic pension and personal account pension.

Rural residents who participate in the new rural social endowment insurance meet the conditions stipulated by the state and receive the benefits of the new rural social endowment insurance on a monthly basis.
