There is no money in the social security card. The Social Security Card of the People's Republic of China is an integrated circuit (ic) card, which is uniformly planned by Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and issued to the public by local human resources and social security departments, and used in various business fields of human resources and social security. Social security (individual) cards are issued to urban employees, unemployed people and retirees, and social security (employer) cards are issued to employers.

The process of handling social security cards is as follows:

1. The applicant brings relevant information to the social security card service station to apply;

3, after the audit, confirm the information is correct, accept the application for social security card, and issue the social security card to the applicant.

Individuals enjoy social insurance benefits according to law and have the right to supervise the payment of their own units.

Social insurance agencies provide social insurance services, responsible for social insurance registration, personal rights and interests records, social insurance benefits payment and other work.
