Social Security for the Unemployed in Beijing

Beijing urban registered residents can go to the district social security center where they are registered, and pay independent social security for freelancers in their personal capacity, including pension, medical care and unemployment (optional), the same as urban workers (through the unit); In addition, instead of paying social security for employees, they go to the streets to apply for separate medical insurance for urban residents (no pension).

Non-Beijing urban residents, then nothing, unless their units pay social security.
