Does Guangzhou Hong Kong and Macao Pass need social security certificate?

The following materials are required:

1, registered resident in Guangdong Province;

2. Guangzhou residence permit holder;

3. Parents of full-time students and employed students in non-local registered universities in Guangzhou are over 60 years old and their children are under 16 years old;

4. Soldiers whose troops or work units are stationed in Guangzhou.

Legal basis: Article 10 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Exit and Entry Administration. Citizens of China who travel between the Mainland and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Macao Special Administrative Region, and citizens of China who travel between the Mainland and Taiwan Province Province shall apply for a permit according to law and abide by the relevant provisions of this Law. Specific management measures shall be formulated by the State Council.
