Shanghai social security card three kinds of insurance

Shanghai is a little more complicated. Social security is divided into three categories: city insurance, town insurance and comprehensive insurance.

Urban insurance called social security includes five insurances: maintenance insurance, medical insurance, unemployment insurance, industrial injury insurance and maternity insurance. There are two conditions for enrollment. People with Shanghai hukou or residence permit for introducing talents in Shanghai are registered in the urban area, and companies and individuals bear their respective proportions.

Town insurance is also the hardware for old-age care, medical insurance, unemployment, work injury and maternity, and insurance regulations are also two conditions. If the company is registered in the suburbs, all companies will pay, and individuals will not pay.

Although it is also a five-risk insurance, the treatment of city insurance is better than that of town insurance, especially in terms of old-age care, and the gap is relatively large.

Comprehensive insurance, non-Shanghai hukou, non-local personnel without residence permit, including pension, medical insurance and work injury, can only participate in this. No matter where the company is registered, as long as it is a non-Shanghai hukou without residence permit, the treatment is much lower than that of Zhenbao.

Provident fund, Shanghai hukou must participate, and foreign hukou must also participate. Foreign hukou cannot participate without a residence permit.
