Fujian workers social security contribution standard in 2022

From the Fujian Provincial Health Insurance Bureau was informed that from July 1, Fujian Province adjusted the upper and lower limits of the base of employee health insurance contributions.

The upper limit of the contribution base for urban workers' basic medical insurance (including maternity insurance) in Fujian Province in 2022 will be 19,962 yuan, and the lower limit will be 3,992 yuan, which will be implemented from July 1, 2022 onwards.

The monthly contribution base for basic medical insurance for urban workers who are flexibly employed is no less than 3992 yuan.

Under normal circumstances, the social security contribution base is usually calculated according to the monthly average of all wage income earned by the employee from January to December of the previous year, or according to the actual wage of the month for those who have less than one year.

Special circumstances, when the employee's basic salary is less than 60% of the local average social wage of the previous year, the contribution base will be calculated according to 60% of the local average social wage of the previous year, and higher than the local average social wage of the previous year, the contribution base will be calculated according to 300% of the local average social wage of the previous year.

For example, if an employee's salary is 2,500 yuan, and the average salary of employees in the city where the employee lives is 5,000 yuan, then the employee's contribution base is 3,000 yuan, which is the lowest limit of the local minimum, as the contribution base.
