Your social security can be transferred home. The procedure is as follows:

1. Apply for the social security transfer certificate in the original unit (the format is fixed, just fill in and stamp it after downloading it online);

2. Issue a social security acceptance certificate at the location of the new unit;

3. Bring the original and photocopy of the social security transfer certificate, social security collection certificate, ID card and social security card to the social security bureau of the original unit for transfer procedures.

4. Submit the transfer formalities documents of the original social security bureau to the new social security bureau.

After completing the transfer procedure, the money in your medical card can still be used. However, the medical insurance stipulates that the overall plan will be cleared automatically after three months of suspension, and you can only use your own personal payment after three months of suspension.
