Legal analysis: 1. Hospitalization deposit: the hospitalization deposit is not covered by social security, and the hospitalization expenses should be paid by yourself.

2. Red envelopes for doctors: This is a special expense in China. In order to arrange the operation earlier, the doctor can cut the knife on time during the operation, and the family members of the patients usually give the doctor some red envelopes. This is naturally beyond the scope of medical insurance and is not worth promoting.

3. Self-funded equipment during surgery: The treatment during illness often involves many medical devices besides medicines. Self-funded equipment and drugs in the social security list are not included in the scope of reimbursement.

4.ICU drugs: ICU is intensive care. Most patients in ICU are seriously ill and tend to use imported drugs. Imported drugs are often not covered by social security reimbursement.

5. Additional expenses of family members during hospitalization: In order to take care of patients during hospitalization, family members often spend a lot on food and drink. For example, during the patient's operation, the family members may stay in hotels near the hospital, and these expenses are not covered by social security reimbursement.

6. Wages and bonuses during hospitalization and rest at home: If you are absent from work due to hospitalization or rest at home, the lost time and bonuses will not be reimbursed. But there is a living allowance.

7. Future income loss: the so-called future loss, that is, the loss caused by follow-up work problems during hospitalization. For example, if you can't continue to work after a serious illness, this part of the loss of social security is not responsible.

8. Traffic accidents: Medical expenses caused by accidents and traffic accidents cannot be reimbursed. Therefore, consumers are advised to buy personal accident insurance.

Legal basis: The Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that the following medical expenses are not covered by the basic medical insurance fund:

(a) shall be paid by the industrial injury insurance fund;

(2) It shall be borne by a third party;

(three) shall be borne by public health;

(4) Go abroad for medical treatment.

Medical expenses that should be borne by a third party according to law. If the third party is unable to pay or cannot determine the third party, the basic medical insurance fund will pay in advance.
