Zibo Social Security Card cannot be activated in Beijing.

The insured can activate (enable) the social security card in five ways.

1. Enter the password of the original medical insurance card with the new card in the designated pharmacy to activate the new card directly. After the social security card is activated, the original medical insurance card password will still be used.

2. Use social security cards in designated hospitals to directly enable social security functions.

3. Enable the social security function while enabling the financial function of the social security card.

4. Start the social security function directly in the social security card management center.

5. Enable the social security card with the original medical insurance card at the designated pharmacy. When the insured uses the social security card for the first time in a designated pharmacy, he inserts the original medical insurance card first, and then inserts the social security card as required to activate the social security card. (Only for the first renewal of social security card)

Treatment conditions

Those who meet the application conditions can make an appointment by telephone at the application outlets or apply for social security cards (including student ID cards) directly at the street (town) social security card application service outlets.
