What happened to the social security card?

Legal analysis: There are four reasons why the social security card cannot be used: arrears, wrong password, card damage, and medical institution settlement system failure.

1. Failure to pay or owe money in time:

Reason: Social insurance premiums should be paid on a monthly basis, and overdue payment or insufficient account balance will affect normal medical reimbursement.

Solution: each enterprise, institution or company should check whether the unit account is enough to pay the social security fee this month at the beginning of each month; Urban and rural residents insured by the local community (neighborhood) is responsible for the deduction.

2. Password error:

Reason: When using the social security card for medical structure settlement, you must first enter the social security card password. If you can't enter the correct password, you will not be able to use the social security card for reimbursement.

Solution: You can enter the social security card password up to ten times. If you enter the password incorrectly for ten consecutive times, you need to go to the issuing bank to unlock the password.

3. The card is damaged:

Reason: In a few cases, the social security card is damaged due to improper storage or other reasons, which will affect the use of credit cards for medical reimbursement.

Solution: Please avoid folding or scratching the card surface and keep it properly. If you accidentally damage the social security card, you can apply to the issuing bank for a replacement card with your valid certificate.

4. Medical institutions settlement system failure:

Reason: In rare cases, the hospital settlement terminal may break down, which makes it impossible to handle on-site reimbursement settlement.

Solution: Please ask the insured to ask the hospital to charge, and indicate the reasons for not handling the on-site settlement on the back of the invoice, affix the seal of the hospital and bring it back to the Social Security Bureau window for reimbursement and settlement ~

5. Other reasons:

Article 35 The employing unit shall pay the work-related injury insurance premium according to the total wages of employees and the rate determined by the social insurance agency.

Forty-fourth employees should participate in unemployment insurance, and employers and employees should pay unemployment insurance premiums in accordance with state regulations.

Fifty-third employees should participate in maternity insurance, the employer should pay maternity insurance premiums in accordance with state regulations, and employees do not pay maternity insurance premiums.
