Can I take the train with my social security card?

1. You can't take the train without your ID card and social security card. Social security card is not a valid certificate for taking the train.

2. Valid identity documents include: resident ID card, temporary id card, household registration book, bus pass, military security card, military officer's card, armed police officer's card, soldier's card, military cadet's card, military civilian cadre's card, retired military cadre's card, valid passport that can be used according to regulations, residence permit for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents, travel permit for Hong Kong and Macao residents to and from the mainland, and travel permit for mainland travel permit for taiwan residents and mainland residents to and from Taiwan.

3. There are 25 kinds of foreigners' residence permits (including foreigners' permanent residence permits and foreigners' permanent residence identity cards), foreigners' entry and exit certificates, diplomats' certificates, consulates' certificates, seafarers' certificates, foreigners' identity certificates issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, passports' loss reporting certificates issued by the exit and entry administration departments of local public security organs, and temporary identity certificates issued by the railway public security department. /kloc-The valid identification of minors over 0/.5m also includes the student ID card.
