Social security card, as an integrated circuit card with the functions of identification and financial debit, is an important carrier to serve the people and a care card for people's livelihood. Since 2009, Jiaxing Citizen Card, the first generation social security card in our city, has officially come out, and a small card has started its upgrade and evolution journey. From the single social security function at the beginning to the application covering all aspects of life and travel, it has been with Jiaxing people 13 years and has been closely integrated into the daily life of ordinary people.

At present, the city has 172 administrative service centers and first-class service outlets of cooperative banks, settled in 38 township (street) government service centers, and has more than 800 second-class service outlets of cooperative banks. The city issued more than 5 million physical cards, basically achieving full coverage of the urban population, and issued more than 2 million electronic social security cards.
