Deadline for 2023 social security contributions

The 2023 urban and rural residents' basic medical insurance enrollment and payment has begun, and the deadline is Dec. 31. The entitlement period for urban and rural residents who have completed their enrollment and payment within the stipulated enrollment and payment period is from Jan. 1, 2023 to Dec. 31, 2023, according to the government.

Basic medical insurance for urban and rural residents covers all urban and rural residents other than those who should be insured under employees' basic medical insurance.

The scope of participation includes:

(1) ? Rural and urban non-working residents (including primary and secondary school students and pre-school children)

(2)? All kinds of full-time general college and university students

(3)? Persons who have applied for a local residence permit

(4)? Other persons stipulated by the state, provinces and municipalities

The basic medical insurance fund for urban and rural residents consists of government subsidies and individual contributions. To participate in the basic medical insurance for urban and rural residents in the year 2023, individuals pay 350 yuan, and the government provides financial subsidies at the rate of 610 yuan per person per year.

Special hardship cases and orphans (including de facto unsupported children) are fully subsidized;

Urban and rural low-income recipients are subsidized at a fixed rate. Among them, the standard of subsidy is 250 yuan for those who are fully covered by the first and second categories of rural low income insurance and urban low income insurance, and 190 yuan for those who are poorly covered by the third and fourth categories of rural low income insurance and urban low income insurance;

The people who have returned to poverty in the rural areas have been given a flat-rate subsidy of 190 yuan;

The people who are prone to return to poverty in the rural areas have been given a flat-rate subsidy of 150 yuan;

People who have been lifted out of poverty will receive a fixed amount of subsidy, and the subsidy standard will be 100 yuan in 2022.
